Nose:

Very fruity up front with plenty of green apple and crisp pear on show. These orchard fruits are beautifully complimented by some soft brown sugar, vanilla fudge and a hint of orange oil and dried pineapple. 

Taste:

The highly aromatic nose leads to an elegant velvety feel on the palate. The whisky is again deliciously fruity – think now of baked apple and poached pear with some heather honey, plus hints of white pepper and apricot jam. The whisky has a lovely softness and gentle nature given the high ABV. Some late white chocolate and gingerbread spice also develop nicely.

Finish:

Decent length with the sweetness holding nicely. The green apple becomes a little more tart with time, which gives an added delicious dimension.
